The outer fabric on this bag is a printed cotton canvas, reinforced so as to give the bag good structure and shape. The navy/white checked lining is also 100% cotton with a small internal pocket. The navy/white stripe shoulder straps are a woven nylon (and actually longer than those in the sample photo here...so you can actually put them over your shoulder) and there is a small internal pocket.
